New Self-Regenerating Gas Purifiers for Chromatography
Jan 25 2016
GasTrap™ have introduced a range of self-regenerating purifiers for Hydrogen, Helium, Nitrogen and Air. The gases are generally used in Chromatography with various detectors such as GC/MS.
The purifiers allow the use of low grade feed gas to produce ultra-high purity gases for Gas Chromatography. The high purity gases extend the -life of disposable GC gas filters tenfold. Simple to install each GasTrap™ will produce significant savings.
Of the new invention, CEO Gary Hosmer said: “Not only can analytical laboratories improve and monitor gas quality while saving money but the Hydrogen purifier incorporates a downstream leak detector/ shut off in case of hydrogen leaks in a GC oven.”
Only 15 x 15 x 30cms high the purifiers can be installed in minutes. Operation and cost savings are displayed on a touch screen LCD.
