Getting up to Speed in Flow Cytometry Software

Applied Cytometry have launched a set of new resources to enable researchers to rapidly get up to speed with VenturiOne® their off-line flow cytometry data analysis software. A comprehensive set of video tutorials, spanning basic set-up to cell cycle analysis, combined with the opportunity to join live, online tutorials will demonstrate how VenturiOne can transform data analysis. Following the live, thirty minute tutorials, an open forum for questions will give researchers the opportunity to explore how VenturiOne will benefit their research with rapid analysis of more colours, more events and more samples. With the ability to analyse data produced by any cytometer, VenturiOne’s simple user interface, allows scientists to perform fast, simple data analysis from the routine to the most challenging. Applied Cytometry demonstrated VenturiOne and the new online tools for the first time, at the Clinical Cytometry meeting in Jacksonville, Florida, in October.

Dr Tracey Long, Marketing Manager at Applied Cytometry, commented: “We are delighted to launch these new resources at the Clinical Cytometry meeting. This will allow researchers to quickly and easily see the applicability of VenturiOne to their research and will also help train any new users in flow cytometry data analysis. We have also supplemented our portfolio of applications reviews with a new review of colour compensation endorsed by Ian Dimmick of the core facility at the Institute of Human Genetics in Newcastle upon Tyne.”
