K7 Computing has been recently awarded the ICSA Labs certification for its flagship product K7 TotalSecurity. K7 TotalSecurity is now certified under the Desktop/Server Anti-Virus Detection v4.0. This certification is issued after rigorous testing based on ICSA’s stringent standards/methodologies. Globally, ICSA Labs is a well-known authority for its highest standards of security testing. For the newly upgraded K7 TotalSecurity - with antivirus software, firewall, antispyware, adware protection, antispam, system monitor, privacy control and parental control - this is another significant milestone, having already achieved several other accreditations in the past.

ICSA has tested K7 TotalSecurity, under Desktop/Server Antivirus Detection V.4.0, for the following capabilities: virus detection on-demand; preventing replication of viruses on-access; no false positives; virus detection attempts log; and performance and action after virus detection. Andrew Lee, Chief Technology Officer at K7 Computing, said: “ICSA Certification is certainly a great validation of our product engineering capabilities. We believe that this directly benefits our customers by providing assurance about the effectiveness of the security solution against all kinds of threats, resulting in increased customer confidence.”
