Innovation in Melting Point

After more than 50 years experience in the production of melting point instruments, Büchi Labortechnik AG again sets new standards with the Melting Point M-560 and M-565. The Melting Point M-565 in combination with the World Novelty, the Sample Loader M-569, detects automatically exact and reproducible melting and boiling points in a shorter time.

The Melting Point M-560 is a manual instrument for melting point determination. Process observation is done by the 2.5 fold magnifying precision lens. The Melting Point M-565 with its builtin digital camera captures and saves real time images of the samples as a video. Stored videos can be recalled and reviewed in variable speeds from frame by frame up to 100x fast motion.

Records can be displayed at the front panel, printed out or transferred to the optional MeltingPoint Monitor Software.

The instrument impresses with a large brilliant colour display and an intuitive menu guided control. Fatigue-proof and relaxed sample observation on the colour display in 6 fold magnification is available as well as the direct observation by the 2.5 fold magnifying precision lens.

A calibration and a verification kit with certified standards for the Melting Point M-560/565 is available and recommended for the qualification of the instrument. Two IQ/OQ packages including documentation, standards and disposables are available in five languages (E ,D ,F ,I ,Sp). The Melting Point M-565 is compliant to Pharmacopoeia as Ph. Eur. 6.1 2.2.60, USP XXI, JP.
