Laminar Flow Cabinets

Our Laminar Flow Cabinets provide sample protection utilising HEPA Filters to generate a parallel (Laminar) Flow of clean air, this can be either Horizontal (HLF), Vertical (VLF) or Reverse Horizontal (RHLF - for powder weighing applications). All cabinets comply to BSEN 14644:1999 and clean conditions to better than EU GMP 2008 Grade B (except RHLF’s). This is achieved using EU4 grade pre-filters and H14 HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) Filters that are rated to 99.997% efficient @ 0.3µm.
Units are Quality Engineered with:
- 316 Grade Stainless Steel Work Surfaces
- Variable Speed Fans
- Quiet Operation - Less than 55dB(A)
- Hermetically sealed interior lighting units
- HLF & VLF units can be fitted with optional UV Light & Night Door with safety interlock
All three types are available in four standard sizes: 1000mm / 1200mm / 1500mm / 1800mm
We offer a range of bespoke designs to accommodate a wide variety of customer specific applications. Systems can be free standing or integrated into rooms as overhead modules with either side walls or Mylar curtains to contain the enclosure.
The PCR Work Station provides a cost-effective means of preparing PCR samples in a sterile environment. The PCR is a mini Vertical Laminar Flow Cabinet providing better than EU GMP 2008 Grade B clean air conditions at the work surface. To further reduce the risk of contamination the PCR, has a built-in automatically timed UV Steriliser.
