Circulation Chillers for Laboratory and Industry

Mar 03 2015

The Huber Minichiller and Unichiller series offers more than 50 air- and water-cooled circulation chillers. The cooling capacities range from 0.3 to 100 kW. The units are suitable for use in laboratory and industry. These highly efficient chillers offer stable pressure and pump performance as well as a constant cooling water temperature. Circulation chillers reduce the water consumption in many applications. This is beneficial for the environment and helps to reduce operating costs.

The compact Minichillers have a premium stainless-steel casing and reach operating temperatures of -20°C to +40°C. The technical equipment includes an LED display, an illuminated level indicator, as well as status LEDs for pump, cooling and heating. All models are available as a Plus version with RS232 interface. At a surcharge, the models can be equipped with an integrated heating to extend the temperature range to +100°C.

The more powerful Unichillers in a tower housing have the Pilot ONE controller with 5.7“ touchscreen. These models offer extended features, such as digital 5-point calibration, external Pt100 sensor connection, autostart, calendar and timer functions as well as RS232, USB and LAN interfaces. They can be retrofitted with analogue connections, a floating contact, RS485, and Profibus. These models are likewise available with optional integrated heating, which turns the chillers into powerful process circulators for temperatures of -20°C to +100°C with a stability of ±0.1°C.

All Unichillers are designed for non-supervised permanent operation at ambient temperatures of up to +40°C. Thanks to the 'weather protection' and 'winter operation' options, they can also be used outdoors. For applications with significant pressure loss, pumps with pressure and pump performances of up to 6 bar and 200 l/min are available.
