New Printer is the Clean Winner for Laboratories

Nov 27 2014

The new Linx CJ400LE printer packs award-winning features into a model tailored specifically for coding and marking in laboratory environments.

Its launch is in response to Linx Printing Technologies customers who want the proven simplicity, flexibility of the trusted Linx CJ400 continuous ink jet printer in a version adapted to a lab, where it is used to code onto petri dishes.

Teamed with an extensive Linx range of inks, including odourless, low-evaporation and non-MEK options, the Linx CJ400LE delivers reliable, clear codes onto a range of substrates.

Easy to use, clean and unobtrusive, its compact design means it weighs only 13.5kg complete with fluids, and its small footprint takes up less bench space.

Its unique hermetically sealed printhead is designed for mess-free operation with minimal cleaning. Typically it will cope with up to 100 starts and stops without manual intervention, making it perfect for multiple short runs.

Fluid refills, too, are quick and easy without opening the printer, making the Linx CJ400LE one of the cleanest printers around.

It starts up quickly, and its Easi-Change® Service Module can be changed in minutes, allowing scheduled maintenance to be carried out without the need for a trained technician or service call.

Other innovations deliver a significant reduction on cleaning costs, ink and solvent consumption.

The Linx CJ400LE’s easy to use, colour touch screen means users don’t need complicated manuals or training, reducing the risk of error.  A low-noise cooling system assures unobtrusive reliability.  And ethernet connectivity means it can integrate with other equipment.

The Linx CJ400’s impressive credentials led to it being named ‘Most Innovative Processing or Packaging Machine’ at the PPMA (Processing & Packaging Machinery Association) Group Industry Awards 2012.

Charles Randon, Linx Product Manager, said: “The Linx CJ400LE is the latest example of how we listen to our customers and deliver coding and marking equipment which matches their requirements.”
