GelDoc-ItTS2 Imager for High Res Gel Imaging

Jun 25 2015

When imaging research requires gel documentation, UVP’s GelDoc-ItTS2 Imager fits that requirement. This system incorporates a CCD camera designed for high resolution image capture of a wide variety of stained gels. The integrated computer with large 15.6” touch screen creates a stand-alone system; no external computer required. A UV transilluminator fits on the easy access roll-out tray. An Ethidium Bromide emission filter is included and is located in the filter wheel located on the side of the darkroom. The filter wheel accommodates additional filters which can be added as needed. The modular design enables components, such as white or blue light plates, to be added to expand the imaging capabilities for colorimetric gels or stained gels requiring blue light.

The exclusive capture software features new capture modes with enhanced manual capture, AutoExposure and Sequential/Image Integration tools. The new One-Touch Templates enable users to define and save image capture settings that can be recalled for later use. The software is available with multiple language options. English is the default language format and users can select from Chinese (simplified), Turkish, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean and Russian for all screen text.

For chemiluminescent blot (and gel imaging) capabilities, including Western blots, take a look at the ChemiDoc-It TS2 Imager with cooled CCD camera.
