mmc2015: come to Europe’s largest free exhibition

The Microscience Microscopy Congress 2015 exhibition opens its doors on Tuesday 30th June, and for three days it will be home to 100 companies. If you use or support light, electron or scanning probe microscopes for imaging, diagnosis, measurement, inspection, or anything else, you really should be there. And, we are making this as easy as possible. Entry is FREE and a number of travel bursaries from the Royal Microscopical Society are available. Don’t miss this opportunity to see and compare everything from high-end machinery to consumables. Companies go to fantastic lengths to ensure a great show, providing hands-on access to a wide range of fully-functioning kit. If you have never been before, then surely it is time.

Free training opportunities
We all know when just a little extra knowledge or guidance could make us significantly more efficient and productive. But sometimes it can be difficult to justify a training course. mmc2015 solves this problem with its fully-equipped teaching and learning zone for anyone who wants to increase their skills or improve their technique. And, when we say 'fully-equipped' we mean with impartial expert staff as well as a range of microscopes and software products. There is no need to book, just turn-up and learn.

Open-access workshops for all
The main exhibition hall has four lecture theatres that provide a platform for companies and visitors to interact freely. Exhibitors host open-access workshops where you can hear about exciting new equipment and techniques, and it is a great opportunity to pose questions directly to the manufacturers.
Once again, there is no need to book. If you are in the hall, just check the programme and arrive on time.

Getting there
Manchester is well-served by road, train and air. The venue is close to the centre of the city with good parking and within a short walk of the main railway stations. You may be surprised at how quickly you can be there, making a day visit comfortable. The table below shows travel times and costs if leaving at ~8am on a weekday.
