Envigo Appoints President and CEO

Joining the Board of Directors of Envigo, Dr Adrian Hardy was announced as President and Chief Executive Officer effective since the beginning of July. Since 2002, Dr Hardy has held various roles of increasing responsibility in Sales, Strategic Marketing and Operations, most recently serving as COO.  Dr Hardy holds a BSc in Human Biology from King’s College London and a PhD in Developmental Biology from University College London.

In related moves, Brian Cass, previously CEO, became Executive Chairman and Andrew Baker, who formally held the post, has become Chairman Emeritus and remains a Board Member.

The company also appointed Patricia Henahan as Chief Financial Officer. With experience including leadership roles at Eli Lilly, AstraZeneca, MedImmune and Hospira, she brings expertise in financial analysis, strategic planning, R&D and operations.

In the US, Scott Schulz became Director of Operations with responsibility for the company's North American Research Model Services (RMS). His direction of operational performance includes meeting best-in-class quality, high levels of productivity and maintaining animal welfare with a focus on health status and genetics, as well as fulfilling customer requirements.
