Appointed Vice-President of BSI Product Services’ Health care team, Jan van Lochem’s new role will be to drive forward both the strategy and performance of the business outside of the Americas.
He joins the company from KEMA Quality where he was formerly Vice President, Medical Devices & Management System Certification. “We’re delighted that Jan is joining our team,” said David Ford, Managing Director, BSI Product Services. “His experience and knowhow in market sectors that are strategically important for our healthcare business will, without doubt, bring big benefits not just for us, but also for our customers.”
Looking forward to his new role Jan van Lochem said: “The regulatory regimes around the world for medical devices are complex and fast changing, but I believe that BSI Product Services is well placed to interpret the global situation, and to provide its customers with services that will help them to grow their businesses.” Jan will be based in the Netherlands, but will spend a significant proportion of his time working in the UK. He will play a key role in the global strategy group for healthcare, and will also be part of the BSI Product Services Executive Management Team.
