Measuring the concentration of organic contaminants in water is a critical requirement in applications from high purity water used in the pharmaceutical industry to municipal and industrial wastewater. With a variety of different TOC measurement methods available, it is essential to make the right choice.
Lambda Advanced Technology offers a range of three Teledyne Tekmar TOC analysers, capable of handing a wide range of sample types. The Lotix and Torch TOC analysers feature combustion analysis, while the Fusion system uses the UV/Persulphate method. All instruments benefit from highly sensitive Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) detection methods.
We can also offer a new guide from Teledyne Tekmar, which provides TOC users with useful information about the different techniques available and offers recommendations on the best instrument for specific applications.
The Guide covers the following topics:
- History of TOC
- TOC Overview
- Types of Oxidation Techniques
- UV Persulfate
- Flow Control Systems
- Other Detection Methods
