Pyrolysis autosampler for increased laboratory throughput

The CDS AS5250 Pyroprobe Autosampler increases the throughput of a pyrolysis laboratory and provides hands-free analysis of up to 44 samples. The system can enhance operational capacity with direct analysis of solid, viscous liquid and powder samples and can be installed onto any gas chromatograph/GCMS directly via a heated transfer line.

 

Its patented heating method provides the flexibility to perform both high performance thermal desorption and multistep pyrolysis on the same sample. The system allows programmable pyrolysis to 1300°C in 1°C increments, with pyrolysis heating rates from 0.01°C/min to 20,000°C/sec.

 

Also available is the 5250T autosampler that offers all the standard 5250 autosampler features, with the addition of an integral trap that enables thermal desorption studies plus pyrolysis in reactant gas including oxygen, hydrogen, and air. It can also be used as a standard pyrolyser, bypassing the trap.
