New from Buchi’s technical design team, the Buchi Sepacore breaks up limits in flash- as well as preparative-chromatography. If high back pressure makes a separation in flash chromatography difficult, for example by running reversed phase chromatography applications, Sepacore breaks up the limits with its extended pressure range and guarantees a safe and fast separation.
Rapid, automated changes between reversed phase and normal phase
applications become possible due to the ingenious software and high system flexibility of Sepacore.
Transparent glass columns and hoses increase process safety in preparative HPLC. Large columns with wide diameters make it possible to clean up large sample amounts at high flow rates – and process costs are reduced as standard solvents can be used. Its Sequential Module allows just that: a sequential run of up to five pre-loaded cartridges or columns for high throughputs.
The Sepacore range starts with the space-saving and portable Flash pump
systems and can grow with your demands at any time – right up to a PC
controlled, fully automated preparative chromatography system.
Robust and chemical-resistant pumps are at the heart of any Sepacore system.
High flow rates – 250ml/min at pressures of up to 50 bar – result in fast and reproducible separations. And for more convenience, the system can be completed with different injection methods, column selection valves, UV or RI detectors, fraction collectors, PC software, level sensors and a variety of further accessories. Buchi offers a wide range of highly resistant pre-packed cartridges, which are easily exchangeable after a run. These disposable cartridges are designed to run both normal and reversed phase flash separations safely at high pressure – up to 10 bar. And Buchi’s unique patented Cartridger allows high performance disposable cartridges to be packed in less than a minute. That’s fast. And oh so simple.
And so to Sepacore columns: standard sample amounts of the PLASTIC+GLAS
coated glass columns range from just a few milligrams up to 100g with no
compromise in safety. The column range is completed by robust, chemically resistant and bio-compatible plunger columns. Designed for bio-separations on weak stationary phases – such as agarose or sepharose – the integrated cooling jacket allows bio-separations at just 4°C outside of a cooling room.
