Organisational Change for UK Group of Companies Enhances Expertise Sharing

Apr 29 2013

Horiba UK Ltd, Medical division has announced that from 1st January 2013 the UK’s Horiba Group companies have been brought together into one company to establish Horiba UK Ltd. Through this organisational change, the UK’s Horiba Group business segments can streamline operational activities and enhance on-going product research and development. Consequently, Horiba’s Medical division can now share and draw on expertise and information from other industry areas such as Scientific, Environmental and Automotive. This enhances the company’s ability to deliver innovative solutions that meet specific UK customer requirements by combining pooled resources to deliver improved customer services.

In 2013, Horiba will also celebrate its 60th anniversary and a strong history of developing advanced analytical technology. In line with this, the Medical division within Horiba UK Ltd will continue to expand and evolve its high quality product line for both haematology and clinical chemistry analysis. New product introductions in 2013 will further broaden its in vitro diagnostic solutions portfolio, ranging from point of care analysers to high throughput systems, suitable for a wide range of budgets and applications.

“For our UK customers the creation of Horiba UK Ltd simply represents an organisational change that will place us in a better position to address and meet their specific needs for both services and products,” said Cleve Wright, Director Horiba UK Ltd. “With our customer needs constantly evolving, we believe that we are very well placed to continue to provide the right solutions for any location or size of laboratory, and meet demands for quality results, flexibility, process optimisation and efficiency.”
