Benchtop Priorclave BASE Autoclave has More Standard Benefits

Jan 04 2022

The C40 Benchtop steriliser is the first model to be launched by Priorclave as part of its new BASE range of research grade laboratory autoclaves. It is a much-improved design, with more inclusive features and benefits as standard than previously available.

The C40 laboratory autoclave range has a 40 litre and a 350mm diameter chamber which is accessed through a wide aperture door for easy loading/unloading. It also incorporates a high level of personnel safety with interlock preventing opening at elevated temperatures and pressures.

At the heart of the C40 benchtop autoclave is Tactrol®3, a microprocessor controller which is central to the autoclave functionality. And for laboratories that have repeat sterilising cycles, nothing is easier that storing a set-up into one of 5 Programmable Memories. Other standard features include built-in cooling and free-steaming systems, drain protection (required by many building codes and not necessary standard on all cost-conscious autoclaves currently available) and a USB connect to download data. These basic models are also pre-piped to accommodate an optional air intake filtration system if required.

The new BASE range is designed to cover “the basics”, media preparation, waste loads, and sterilizing loose instruments, open containers, and labware. They are the ideal partner for start-up labs, or organisations with low sterilising throughput requirements

These high-efficiency cylindrical-chamber front-loading autoclaves are well suited to smaller research, quality assurance and teaching labs. They will still appeal to the same diverse customer base involved in food and drink, dairy, pharmaceutical, agriculture, education, healthcare and research establishments.

Designed and manufactured by one of Britain’s top laboratory autoclave producers, it has an extremely small footprint, ensuring that even the smallest laboratory could consider this highly efficient and reliable front loading benchtop autoclave. Investing in the Priorclave brand gives access to an exceptional level of customer pre and after-sales support through a dedicated team always on-hand to provide expert advice, ensuring every laboratory maximises the use of these robust autoclaves.

Manufactured by Priorclave at its UK production facility, the BASE autoclaves will continue to offer a superior anti-microbial exterior finish to body panels and frames. This is a highly effective and permanent treatment that provides life-long control of harmful bacteria and protection against the threat of cross contamination. This tough special epoxy finish is proven to reduce bacterial growth by up to 99.99% and is highly effective against MRSA, E.coli, Listeria, Legionella, Campylobacter, Salmonella, Pseudomonas and over fifty other species.

The approach that Priorclave has brought to the structure of its new autoclave groups that include Smart and Performance will make it far easier for customers to select the best laboratory autoclave-match to their specific sterilising applications.

With all Priorclave products, at the end of the normal warranty period, this dedicated autoclave manufacturer ensures that their autoclave’s offer exceptional operational longevity. Planned Maintenance Programmes help maintain full functionality, reliability and sterilising performance which reduces very significantly the overall cost of ownership.
