13th International Symposium on Hyphenated Techniques in Chromatography and Hyphenated Chromatographic Analysers (HTC-13)
Third International Symposium on Hyphenated Techniques for Sample Preparation (HTSP-3)
Over the years the HTC symposium series has established its reputation as a premier forum for exchanging ideas on hyphenated and automated separation systems in a wide variety of applications. The Old Saint John Conference Centre, in the heart of historical Bruges in Belgium, will accommodate the thirteenth edition of this successful congress series from 28-31 January 2014.
The three day event will feature the latest systems from instrument and equipment vendors; recent findings on chromatographic and mass spectrometric techniques; state-of-the-art overview lectures; key-note and oral presentations; tutorials to introduce specific fields to relative newcomers; award presentations; and a job market to provide facilities for those to meet potential employers within the hyphenated systems market. Short courses will also be organised on Tuesday 28 January on capillary electrophoresis, GC and HPLC troubleshooting and advanced mass spectrometry.
The HTC-13 program encompasses both fundamental chromatographic developments and various application areas including computational chromatography, human health and oil and petrochemicals. Other areas of interest comprises life sciences, including pharmaceutical and bio-analytical applications, new data-treatment methods, metabolomics, green hyphenated chromatography, natural products and hyphenated electro-driven systems.
The contact time available between the exhibitors and the attendees is aimed at maximising idea and concept exchange via the integration of shortlisted posters and vendor seminars within the large exhibition space, while a rich social program consisting of a welcome party, reception at the historical Town Hall, beer degustation evening, symposium dinner and a Farewell Cocktail is offered.
A large number of key researchers in this field have been invited to further strengthen the quality of the scientific program, including: Alois Jungbauer, Peter Schoenmakers, Hian-Kee Lee, Tadeusz Gorecki, Michal Holcapek, Ralf Zimmerman, Fred Regnier, Bruno Le Bizec, Gabriel Vivo-Truyols, Philip Marriott, Luigi Mondello, Janusz Pawliszyn, Valérie Pichon, Bart Devreese, Gert Desmet, Robert Shellie, Davy Guillarme, Hans-Gerd Janssen, Yvan vander Heyden, Emily Hilder, Frank David, Koen Sandra, Hernan Cortes, Tuulia Hyötyläinen.
The third International Symposium on Hyphenated Techniques for Sample Preparation (HTSP-3) will be organised from 28-29 January 2014, to allow scientist to attend both meetings.
