Wireless sensors and new laboratory meters from WTW

May 04 2016

WTW (a Xylem brand) has announced new lab and field IDS digital multi-meters for pH, Cond. and D.O. measurement. They work with WTW’s new Bluetooth® wireless transmission modules, allowing a comfortable handling in confined spaces, e.g. under laboratory hoods and laminar flow benches.

The wireless modules are plugged onto the sensor heads and automatically and securely connect with their counterparts on the meters. The module does not only provide the radio data transfer but also the power supply of the sensor, allowing for instance up to 60 hours of continuous operation with an IDS pH or ORP electrode. At the push of a button, the measured value is stored automatically in the meter. Up to three parameters or sensors can be displayed and processed.

Both, the range of portable and that of laboratory instruments have been updated and re-alligned, and will now be made up of the following models:

inoLab® laboratory instruments series:

  • inoLab® Multi 9310 IDS
  • noLab® Multi 9620 IDS
  • inoLab® Multi 9630 IDS

MultiLine® portable instruments series:

  • Multi 3510 IDS
  • Multi 3620 IDS
  • Multi 3630 IDS

A complete lineup of WTW IDS plug head electrodes is available to complement the meters:

  • pH electrodes
  • ORP electrodes
  • Optical D.O. sensor
  • Conductivity cells
  • Turbidity sensors
