ZOMZ offers professional equipment for Gas analysis and Dosimetry

Sep 03 2014

ZOMZ, a leading Russian manufacturer of photometric and polarimetric laboratory equipment, now offers high quality gas analysers and dosimeters.

DMG-OU is a gas detector designed to control the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air with sound and light alarm, generating control signals when exceeding given thresholds. It has two alarm thresholds: warning threshold, mg/m3 20; and emergency threshold, mg/m100.

Application
Residential areas, homes, garages, underground parking, etc. - wherever there is a probability of occurrence and accumulation of carbon monoxide.

Features

  • Detector type – stationary, mono block;
  • Mounting technique - wall;
  • Sampling - diffusion;
  • Sensing device - electrochemical cell;
  • Protection from penetration of solid objects and water - IP 40;
  • Two trigger thresholds – warning and emergency;
  • Actuator control through 'dry' contacts of heavy duty relays for each of the thresholds;
  • Protection against misoperation;
  • and self-test mode.

SIGMA-1M is a multichannel gas analyser designed to measure and control pre-explosive concentration of  explosive gases and vapours in the air or nitrogen. It features an emergency light, sound and control signals. It has a number of control points (sensors): one to eight, concentration measurement range spans methane, vol %  0-2.5; propane, % LEL 0-50; petrol vapour, LEL 0-50.

Application
Approved for use in hazardous areas and indoors according to the marking of explosion protection and in compliance with the operating instruction including pumping stations, oil depots, gas stations, public utility networks, storage of flammable liquids, gas and oil-producing and processing plants and other facilities that require continuous automatic control of explosive vapour content of hydrocarbon compounds in air or nitrogen.

Features

  • Information console and external sensors of gas control;
  • Explosion-proof design;
  • Console in a metal case, desk/wall models;
  • Digital display of measurement results;
  • Heavy duty executive relays with  'dry contacts';
  • Programmable alarm limit;
  • Port for communication with external devices via RS-232, RS-485;
  • Software for archiving and graphic display of measurement results;
  • Up to eight external sensors on one console;
  • Double-wire communication line of console with external sensors;
  • Sensors in cast housing made of  silumin or ABS;
  • Protection from penetration of solid objects and water - IP 40; and
  • Sensor flange connection options.

MKS-07N ((DKG-07BS) is а dosimeter-radiometer for measuring ambient equivalent dose (ED) and equivalent dose rate (EDR) of X-ray and gamma radiation, flux density (FD) of  alpha and beta particles. Two versions are available: portable (MKS-07N), on-board and stationary (DKG-07BS).

Application
The device is used for operational dosimetry control of radiation situation, in radiation mapping and study of radiation anomalies and for contamination detection of clothing, equipment and buildings.

Features

  • Block configuration of the device consisting of the basic unit in a metal case and remote detection units of α, β, γ radiation allows to make up a device to customer request and provides interchangeability of detection blocks from different sets;
  • The device refers to groups 1.6.4 and 1.10 GOST RV 20.39.304 and groups D2a and G1 GOST 27451-87 for resistance to impact factors;
  • Suitable for use in the dark, in vehicles when driving over rough terrain;
  • A sound and light alarm on exceeding established thresholds;
  • Storage of 500 measurements;
  • Operation algorithm allows to obtain reliable information about the radiation situation with the assessment of statistical dispersion in measurements within one measurement and use the device as an on- board measuring tool during the movement of a vehicle; and
  • Powered from batteries, battery, onboard and stationary network.
