STED Microscopes with below 25 nm Optical Resolution
Oct 18 2014
Abberior Instruments is a spin-off from the Max-Planck-Institute in Göttingen (Professor Stefan Hell) and develops cutting-edge super resolution microscopes with the best resolution on the market. Abberior Instruments offers the first commercial RESOLFT microscopes as well as outstandingly performing STED microscopes with a resolution below 25nm, made by the inventors of the methods themselves.
Customers strongly benefit from the Abberior Instruments open software and hardware platform. It means versatile customisation possibilities, such as, integration with inverted/upright stands from different vendors, adding additional hardware and accessible in/output signals. Furthermore, the open platform ensures that you stay cutting edge, since upcoming innovations can easily be retrofit at any point later. Abberior Instruments have a proven track record of integrating new technologies in less than one year.
In October 2014, the company will launch their Abberior Instruments easy-3D-STED upgrade. This upgrade is based on phase modulation elements that allows the user to compensate for any optical distortions caused by sample tissue. It provides superior 3D-STED imaging at a resolution of below 80x80x90 nm, even tens of microns into the specimen.
Abberior Instruments’ sister-company Abberior develops outstanding super resolution markers; together they provide the best super resolution package possible today.
