Enhanced Specification on the New Microcam
Jun 19 2006
Multi-focussing and image compilation allows 3-dimensional specimens to be captured in perfect focus. This is achieved by focussing and capturing images of the specimen at various levels and then instructing the software to assemble the images. The result is a single, fully in-focus picture.
Image tiling is extremely useful when capturing an image larger than the field of view. Individual images are captured across the whole area of interest and then they are assembled, using selectable rules, to give one large high-resolution image.
These two additional features enhance the sophistication of the Pyser Microcam.
