11th International Trade Fair of Analytical, Measurement and Control Technology

State-of-the art solutions, technologies, scientific achievements and a unique opportunity to learn about products of leading companies and institutions in chemical analytics, metrology, biotechnology and Life Science  this is just a part of the offer at the International Trade Fair of Analytical Measurement and Control Technology ’EuroLab’. The 11th edition of the prestigious and exclusive laboratory fair in Poland will take place on 4-6 March 2009 in the Trade Fair and Congress Centre MT Polska in Warsaw.

Numerous exhibitors will include representatives of industrial laboratories (chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, petrochemical, textile, plastics) as well as analytical, medical and hospital labs along with the laboratories established for environment protection (water and sewage analysis, water treatment plants). The representatives of inspection-control entities (sanitary and epidemiological stations, chemical and agricultural stations etc.), quality assurance departments of manufacturing plants and scientific and research institutions and centers as well as higher education institutions, will also be present at the fair.
Our successes have been recognized by a growing number of partners from abroad and European media have appreciated our potential.
Fair accomplishments for more than a decade are a clear proof of the event`s steady development. For example, in 2008, 127 exhibitors from Austria, Finland, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Great Britain and Italy presented their products and services and recorded more than 5,500 visitors to their booths.

Concept, professionalism, prestige

Seminars, training sessions and presentations are an integral part of the EuroLab fair. They are an excellent way to combine business and science, in this way becoming a valuable source of information and opinions about cutting-edge research methods and techniques. Their professional contents is supervised by a Program Board and the EuroLab fair owes its professional nature to conceptual partnership with scientific and research centers from all over Poland and the honorary patronage of prof. Barbara Kudrycka, Minister of Science and Higher Education, and prof. dr. hab. Michał Kleiber, President of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).
During this year`s edition, among others, a workshop in chemical metrology deserves a special mention. It is devoted to the issue of uncertainty and consistency of chemical measurements and will be conducted by authorized lecturers of the European project entitled TrainMi ® Training in Metrology in Chemistry (attendants will receive certificates of attendance).
Quality standards at profiled diagnostic labs will be covered as part of a series of lectures given by the National Chamber of Laboratory Diagnosticians while the Polish Centre for Accreditation will organize a seminar devoted to accredited emission research labs.

For the first time in Poland: Jobvector Career Day

Jobvector Career Day is a new development at the 2009 EuroLab fair it is an extraordinary initiative organized for the first time in Poland by www.jobvector.pl, life science career portal. The idea behind the project is to develop a comprehensive life science job market offering for people interested in careers in biotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry, physics and medical research. Jobvector is also a successful scientific career platform present in many other countries.

The organizers guarantee that each visitor will have a chance to become acquainted with job offers and take part in company presentations, discussion panels and lectures about the most recent labor market trends and employment opportunities. Experts will lend advice regarding, among others, how to easily land a job, and the acquired expertise will be put to test during a job interview at a workshop conducted by a professional head-hunter.
