A News Food Industry Electrode Added to Portfolio..
Jul 25 2008
For the Jam and Preservatives Industry, a special probe was produced, which has a removable junction, to enable a replacement to be filled.
Measurements in these products causes the junction to get blocked, so the ability to remove and clean, or replace is a valuable feature, and extends the life of the probe.
For the measurement of Frozen meat, the KNIFE kit as illustrated, enjoys great success, and again it is designed so the blade can be removed to enable easy cleaning. There is no fear of the pH glass getting broken, as the blade makes the insertion.
The probe itself can be used on its own with unfrozen products, such as ham and soft cheeses, but for the benefit of those who are concerned the glass could break, a more robust version has been introduced. (as illustrated).

This was designed for a large Ham producer, and the possibility of breakage is very slight.
