New Version 2 of the Infinitefocus 3d Optical Microscopy Viewing and Measurement System is Launched.
Nov 07 2006
Alicona Imaging GmbH of Graz, Austria is one of the fastest growing 3D optical surface characterisation companies in Europe. They have recently launched Version 2 of their advanced InfiniteFocus system providing the most comprehensive viewing and analysis capabilities within reflective light Optical Microscopy.
Available as an update for existing installations, and being supplied as standard with all new sales this software & hardware enhancement greatly extends the capabilities and accuracy of the system.
In use the system takes a 3 dimensional image optical image of a surface by variation in focus. This image is then stored for viewing, reference and analysis. The image is presented as a full 3D model for viewing and reporting.
In addition the system can be used for accurate measurement, on the imaged surface, of profile, area, volume, "Z" height and also 2D image analysis. Virtual cross sectioning can also be performed on the surface providing enormous amounts of data of the surface features and dimensions.
