The Gast Group, a member of the Idex Corporation’s health and science division, has introduced the oil-free Jun-Air 85R-4P compact compressor system with a maximum working pressure of 7 bar and flow rates to 55 l/min.

The small footprint, plug & play capability and super-quiet operation (only 50 decibels) of the 85R-4P makes it easy-to-use and ideal for point-of-use laboratory, medical and test equipment applications or where a clean, quiet and reliable source of compressed air is required.

It features a 100% continuous duty cycle and comes fully equipped with a 5μm filter regulator, automatic drain system with evaporation tray, hour run meter and a choice of either castors or vibration isolation pads. Optional higher-grade filtration and air dryers are also available.

Featuring Gast’s latest rocking piston technology, the new Jun-Air compact compressor is designed with long life and minimum maintenance in mind, requiring a filter replacement only every 2000 hours and compressor service every 8000 hours. The system benefits from a two-year warranty as standard and the 85R-4P’s internally-coated four litre receiver tank features a five-year warranty.
