"Introduction to HPLC Detectors, Data & Method Development", is the 4th module in Academy Savant's new series of e-Learning programs on HPLC, has been launched both online and on CD.

The program is authored by two experienced HPLC practitioners: Dr. John Dolan, who writes the HPLC Troubleshooting column in LCGC Magazine, and Dr. Dennis Saunders, the creator of the previous best-seller versions of Savant's HPLC computer-based training programs.

This interactive tutorial describes the functions of output-producing and handling components, including UV-Vis, RI and other detectors, as well as integration and data processing systems. Method development and factors to be considered in qualitative & quantitative analysis are introduced and discussed.

With a modern user-friendly interface and functionality designed to promote interest and aid retention, this 2-hour module features narration, an assessment quiz with automatic scoring and revision hyperlinks, a glossary and bibliography. The customization capability on the CD version enables instructors to add their own content to the program.
