ACHEMA, the world's largest trade fair for chemical engineering, biotechnology and environmental protection, will take place from 18 to 22 June 2012 in Frankfurt am Main. On a stand measuring 153 sqm (stand H35, hall 4.1), the DURAN Group will be presenting a variety of new products made of the tried-and-tested special glass.
One of the focal areas will be DURAN laboratory glass bottles combined with original accessories such as caps and connection systems, optimally tailored to each other for the best results in laboratories. "Whether it's temperature resistance, chemical resistance, USP conformity or the integrity of the seal, we offer the right solution for every application," says Alistair Rees, Product Manager Laboratory Glassware at the DURAN Group.
Additionally, the DURAN Group will be showcasing the new DURAN PURE product line - a primary packaging solution designed to meet the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.
Furthermore, extracts from the DURAN laboratory glassware for manipulators programme will be on show alongside capillary tubes, glass tubes and cylinders from the Special Glass for Industry area. After all, the DURAN quality Made in Germany has proved its worth many times over in all these areas.
For the first time, the company will be setting up a so-called "Ideas Lab" at its stand this year. "We want to live up to our reputation as the industry's innovation leader and are always interested in new suggestions and impetus from different areas," explains Tobias A. Thiele, Head of Marketing & Innovation Management. "We offer our customers an open forum with the aim of discussing new product ideas and to find out more about their needs."
labpoints.de, the reward system for the laboratory industry that celebrates its fifth anniversary this year, will join its partner the DURAN Group at the trade fair stand. Visitors can try their luck at the Wheel of Fortune – the odds are in their favour!
