The persistent nature of dioxins can lead to a memory effect and carryover during the extraction process. The Ethos X, a microwave enhanced system, equipped with a specially designed rotor overcomes the memory effect and cleaning by using EPA compliant disposable glass vials and is capable of extracting 24 samples simultaneously in 40 minutes.
