Determining the Moisture Content of Medical Marijuana
Nov 21 2019 Read 543 Times
The Cannabis plant has a history of medicinal use dating back thousands of years in many cultures. In more recent times, several countries have legalised the medical use of marijuana. It can be used to assist with the reduction of chronic pain, muscle spasms and nausea in addition to playing a part in the treatment of a variety of medical conditions and illnesses.
Properly dried cannabis should contain no more than 10-12% moisture. Anything above this and the plant will be more susceptible to disease and contamination. Therefore, a highly accurate moisture analyser must be used in order to precisely determine the moisture content percentage for optimum safety.
Rigorous testing to ensure customer safety is paramount. You can find out how Precisa UK’s moisture analysers can assist with the testing of moisture content, on their website.
