Making great alcoholic beverages necessitates the measurement of factors such as Brix and alcohol content at multiple stages of production. KEM's ALM-155 Alcohol Meter is an oscillation-type density meter designed with the high-precision measurement capability that alcoholic beverage quality management demands.

Traditionally, alcohol measurement relied on the use of a hydrometer that works by measuring the specific gravity of a sample based on its buoyancy. Accurate measurement using a hydrometer requires a large volume of distilled sample (100-200mL), strict control of sample temperature, and an experienced user. The ALM-155 only requires 10mL of distilled sample, and with a precision heat adjustment function, alcohol content analysis is a cinch regardless of user experience.

What's more, it measures sugar content (Brix), perfect for malt, wine must/grape juice, and other samples. Fermentation management and quality management from base ingredients to finished product samples are all supported by the ALM-155.

Operation is easy, just press the pump button to sample, then the measurement button to automatically measure alcohol content, Brix, and more. After measurement, press pump again to drain and sample pure water to clean the measurement cell. Measurement can be performed at any time, by anyone, taking mere seconds to deliver high-precision results that blow hydrometers out of the water! Trust KEM to create alcohol measurement solutions for you.
