Dubai will again host Arablab, the laboratory and instrumentation industry’s biggest international show in the Middle East and Asia.

Now in its 25th year, Arablab has grown from 40 exhibitors housed in one small hall to some 800 of the industry’s leading companies occupying five of the largest halls at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre. Regarded by the industry as number 4 in the world and attracting visitors from some 80 countries, Arablab focuses on six sectors – laboratory technology, biotechnology, environmental sciences, robotics and automation, analytical instrumentation, and measurement and testing.

Under the patronage of Dubiotech (the region’s first science and business park dedicated to the global life science industry), Arablab provides a unique forum for industry leaders involved in medical, petroleum and environmental research and analysis, laboratory automation, and data process management. All the industry’s foremost companies will be exhibiting, with national pavilions representing Austria, China, Finland, France, Germany, Korea, Malaysia, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

“Complementing the show’s established areas, new for 2008 is NanoLab, featuring state-of-the-science technologies. And Arablab’s packed seminar programme – MediLab, BioLab, EnviroLab, and PetroLab – offers invaluable opportunities to gain information about the latest developments”, said David Domoney, Managing Director of the organisers, the ArabLab Group. “Over the past 25 years Arablab has come to be recognised as one of the most important annual events in the industry’s calendar. Indeed, exhibitors have reported that they have done more business at Arablab than at many of the other northern hemisphere shows.”

Arablab will be held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre from Sunday 10 February 2008 to Wednesday 13 February 2008.
