Acquisition Expands Manufacturing Expertise and Pipeline Provision

MicroSolv Technology Corporation™, Leland, NC, USA, a manufacturer of HPLC columns and other products for Separation Sciences has acquired Applied Research Europe GmbH of Berlin, Germany a manufacturer of Chromatography Accessories on 20 July 2022. Dr Christian Wegner, CEO and President of Applied Research Europe will join MicroSolv™ as Vice President for International Business Development. 

According to Bill Ciccone, President of MicroSolv™ “This acquisition will further increase MicroSolv’s manufacturing capabilities and with the addition of Dr Wegner our expertise in manufacturing will be greatly enhanced allowing us to produce new innovations for the separation science laboratories that has come to be expected from our company.”

Manufacturing and product research and development is expected to be relocated to MicroSolv’s Leland facility (NC USA) in early September 2022.
