The Fisher Scientific Activate Science events are now to be extended to laboratory personnel in the Nordics, starting with Vantaa on April 20, 2016. Announcing the decision, Thermo Fisher Scientific  added that the inclusion of the Nordics will bring the total number of events to nearly 45 in the coming months.

Emily Quinton, European marketing communications manager, commented: “We’re building on a successful 2015 when we introduced Activate Science in Spain and Portugal with great results. In total, the programme included events in nine countries across Europe, reaching almost 3,000 delegates.”

Activate Science events are aimed at all laboratory personnel, including anyone who uses or purchases products. It is a great opportunity to network and speak directly at a customer’s location. Delegates have commented that they value being able to talk to suppliers in a relaxed atmosphere away from the laboratory. Attendees also attend seminars covering topics relevant to their work today, learning about new techniques and developments to enable them to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
