In this digital age, the Thai government has been pushing the country forward via the ‘Thailand 4.0’ policy. It aims to facilitate important transformations for every industry through the use of modern innovation and technology combined with smart ideas and business connection. Thailand Lab International 2017, the International Exhibition and Conference on Laboratory Equipment & Technology, Biotechnology & Life Sciences, Chemical & Safety, has realised the significance of Thailand 4.0. This year, it successfully created a quality market place for laboratory equipment, also showcasing the trends and innovations for laboratory applications and solutions. The show also became a platform for exchanging knowledge for Laboratory Equipment and Technology, Life Sciences and Bio Investment, Lab Safety and Chemical industry to the Asian region.

Thailand Lab International 2017 welcomed more than 9,165 trade participants from a total of 60 countries. The event saw an increase in attendees which amounted to an increase of 34% or 1,329 participants worldwide. There were 330 leading brands showcasing their products in the exhibition halls, which covered 10,720 m2. In the upcoming 6 months the value of the laboratory equipment industry is expected to increase by up to 10% of market value, and total value is estimated to be around 40,000 – 60,000 million Baht after the fair.

Thailand Lab International will proceed to its 8th edition on 12-14 September 2018, EH 102-103, Bitec, Bangkok. The tradeshow will again aim to be one of the leading exhibitions and conferences in Southeast Asia for Analytical and Laboratory Equipment and Technology. It will be focusing on Analytical & Testing, Clinical & Diagnostic, Research & Development, Chemical & Safety and Calibration & Metrology. In 2018, Thailand Lab International will be introducing a new feature to this tradeshow - Medical Lab Industry.
