The A-22 uses static light scattering as analysis method and offers you an extra wide measuring range from 0.01 to 3,800 μm. With it, you get a sophisticated high-end device with just one laser and a range of patented features designed for maximum durability with minimum maintenance. You choose exactly the modules you need for your measuring tasks. 

Modules available:
Dry dispersing unit: Height-adjustable hopper and self-regulating vibrating chute ensure optimum feeding for every sample material.
Wet dispersion unit: Powerful centrifugal pump with variable speed for fast, uniform distribution of the sample material.
Viscous liquids wet dispersion unit: For the dispersion of liquid suspensions, such as crude oil, with a dynamic viscosity of up to approx. 75 mPas.
Ultrasonic box: Even finer adjustment of wet dispersion to the sample – ideal if you regularly measure samples that tend to agglomerate.
pH probe: Simple, continuous monitoring of the dispersing liquid’s pH value enables detailed control of your measuring conditions.
Conversion kit for extreme chemical resistance: For problem-free measurement where aggressive organic solvents such as gasoline or hexane are involved.

Reduced to the max 
This is our philosophy: a particle measuring device should be as lean as possible. That’s why the A-22 achieves the most precise results with just one laser, where others require two to three lasers. This makes the device more compact and significantly more robust when used in harsh environments. It is much easier to operate and requires less maintenance. Also, because our revolutionary patent allows us to create a sample circuit without valves and seals!

Speaking of dispersion: when wet, when dry? 
Any laser particle measurement is only as good as its dispersion. In principle, wet dispersion is the ideal form of preparation for particle size measurement for most samples. Dry dispersion is the alternative, especially for materials that are not too fine, free-flowing and would react in water or other liquids.
