The Cubis® II semi-micro balance offers interesting technical specifications and software functions. For example the measurement time and minimum weight are superior compared to other instruments available on the market. The fast measurement time significantly accelerates serial sample weighings and the low permissible minimum weight (according to different Pharmacopoeias) saves sample material and money weighing precious samples. Due to the high maximum weighing capacity and the large glass draft shield large tare vessels can be used and no sample transfer after weighing is necessary. A very interesting software function is the cleaning application guiding users through the balance cleaning process and performing a final function check. Very often balances are not properly cleaned since users are afraid to damage the instrument or to make errors during disassembly/assembly.
