Mining and enrichment in discovery, isolating product-related impurities, or developing efficient purification processes can be very laborious. The new lab-scale gradient-capable purification solution Contichrom® from Knauer offers great flexibility for all process choices (batch LC, SMB, MCSGP, multi-column) using a single equipment and control software. In MCSGP mode, impure side fractions containing product are recycled internally by continuous column switching, maximising extraction of the product. Contichrom makes up-scaling from batch to continuous LC easy, allowing 50% higher yields and purity and up to 10 times more throughput.
