INTEGRA Clean-Up Week: employees send a clear signal for sustainability and responsibility

07 Oct, 2026

INTEGRA Biosciences carried out a cross-site Clean-Up Week in September 2026 at its main sites in Zizers, Switzerland, and Hudson/Merrimack, US. Over the course of a week, employees contributed to a more organised work environment, a more conscious use of resources, and a cleaner environment, both within the company and in the areas surrounding the sites.

From September 14 to 18, 3 activities were at the center of the initiative: an Office Clean-Up in departments and work areas; a Second Life Corner for passing on furniture and items that were no longer needed; and a voluntary Outdoor Clean-Up at the Zizers site and Benson Park in Hudson. In total, 917 kg of waste and other unwanted materials were collected, separated and properly disposed of, including 837 kg from the Office Clean-Up and 80 kg from the Outdoor Clean-Up. 50 employees also took part in the voluntary Outdoor Clean-Up, and many items were passed on through the Second Life Corner.

Azra Wiesner, Head of Global HR at INTEGRA Biosciences, said: “Sustainability starts with the individual and, often, it is the small things that make a big difference when we do them together. Clean-Up Week shows that every single contribution counts and that, as a team, we can have a major impact through many small actions.”
