Knauer will be presenting at L.A.B 2007:

? Eurocel and Europak, KNAUER's new set of polysaccharide-based chiral columns for a wide range of HPLC enantioseparations. These columns not only feature high selectivity and loadability, but also support separations in different eluent modes (normal phase, reversed phase, polar organic). Eurocel and Europak are available in particle sizes ranging from 3 to 20 µm.

? The new SmartMix, a patent-pending static mixer to improve the gradient performance of most HPLC systems. It can be used from flow rates of 1 µl/min up to 2.0 ml/min. SmartMix outperforms even some dynamic mixers and can be used in high-pressure as well as low-pressure gradient HPLC systems. The mixer has a pressure-rating of up to 100 MPa - 1000 bar.

? A new HPLC column thermostat, called Smartline Oven 4000, featuring microprocessor controlled contact heating/cooling from 10 below room temperature up to 140 degrees Celsius, including thermostatting of the mobile phase at the column inlet and cooling at the outlet.

? The most compact HPLC purification systems serving the flow range from 50 ml/min to up to 1.000 ml/min. The Prepline systems can be operated either stand-alone or controlled by software, providing advanced fraction collection features, including solvent-recycling and peak purity tests.
