Unlock your growth potential

AMSBIO is pleased to announce the release of Extragel, a like-for-like alternative to Matrigel™, Geltrex™, and Cultrex™ Basement Membrane Extract (BME).

Reliable supply with overnight shipping

Extragel is readily available ex-stock, with overnight shipment options. It is a reconstituted matrix hydrogel made up of basement membrane components extracted from mouse tumour tissues, which are abundant in extracellular matrix proteins.

Optimised and effective growth scaffold

Extragel is intended for undiluted use or dilution to a specific protein concentration. It has been shown to be a remarkably effective growth scaffold for in vivo xenograft generation, maintenance/differentiation of pluripotent stem cells, angiogenesis, and advanced 3D culture applications.

Extragel comprises of laminin, collagen IV, and heparan sulfate proteoglycans, in addition to several growth factors such as epidermal growth factor, platelet-derived growth factor, nerve growth factor, basic fibroblast growth factor (FGF-2), transforming growth factor-β, and insulin-like growth factor.

Extragel has been formulated to be free of LDEV and mycotoxins such as fungi, bacteria, and mycoplasma. This allows researchers to quickly generate optimised gels in under 30 minutes at 37°C. AMSBIO upholds rigorous quality inspection measures to ensure unparalleled product stability and high batch-to-batch consistency.
