• Innovative IgM antibody labelling kits
Mouse anti-beta tubulin clone 5H1 (IgM kappa) was labelled with CF®488A using Mix-n-Stain™ IgM labelling, and then was used to stain methanol-fixed HeLa cells at 5 ug/mL (right panel). The conjugate shows comparable staining specificity compared to unlabelled antibody at 1 ug/mL detected using CF®488A Goat Anti-Mouse IgM Mu chain secondary antibody at 2 ug/mL (left panel).

Innovative IgM antibody labelling kits

Mix-n-Stain™ CF® Dye IgM Antibody Labelling Kits from leading life science solutions provider, Biotium, revolutionises the IgM antibody labelling process, enabling researchers to effortlessly create high-performance fluorescent IgM conjugates with minimal hands-on time, eliminating the need for purification post-labelling.

While IgM antibodies offer advantages over IgG antibodies due to their increased avidity, conventional conjugation methods designed for IgG antibodies often fall short for optimal IgM labelling due to structural differences. Recognising this challenge, Biotium has successfully optimised reaction conditions, introducing Mix-n-Stain™ CF® Dye IgM Antibody Labelling Kits to overcome this hurdle.

Researchers can now label 25 ug or 100 ug of their IgM antibody within just 15-30 minutes, streamlining experimental workflows. The kits provide unparalleled convenience, requiring less than 30 seconds of hands-on time, a significant resource-saving for laboratories.

The Mix-n-Stain™ CF® Dye IgM Antibody Labelling Kits boast key features designed to enhance the efficiency of IgM conjugation. Engineered for optimal performance with IgM antibodies, these kits offer a quick and easy process, allowing for conjugation within a mere 15-30 minutes without the need for purification. Additionally, users can choose from a wide selection, with the kits available in 8 bright CF® Dye colours and FITC, providing versatility in experimental design.

Dr Lori Roberts, Director of Bioscience at Biotium, expressed excitement about the product, stating: "The Mix-n-Stain™ CF® Dye IgM Antibody Labelling Kits provide a simple and innovative solution to the longstanding challenge of IgM conjugation. We believe these kits will offer researchers increased flexibility in panel design for immunofluorescence and flow cytometry."
