Duran laboratory glass bottles are now also available in 10 ml size

In the development of new analysis and laboratory apparatus, the trend is moving towards miniaturisation. Ultimately, smaller apparatus with a lower volume not only takes up less space, but also uses less material and media. And using less material not only keeps procurement costs for reagents to a minimum, but also reduces the cost of disposal. The Duran Group is satisfying this trend towards miniaturisation by extending its product range for laboratory glass bottles: Duran laboratory glass bottles are now also available in 10ml size.

Product Advantages:

• wide range of applications: as a storage vessel for expensive or sensitive media; as a packaging bottle for reference samples, stability tests, round robin tests and deuteration solutions; as a shipping bottle for small sample volumes or as a storage bottle for proteins, vitamins or DNA, to name but a few applications.
• common thread size: the new Duran 10ml laboratory glass bottle has a GL 25 thread and can therefore be used in combination with existing screw caps.
• simple handling: the bottle can be opened easily with one hand for convenient use of a pipette.

The bottles are also available in brown for use with light-sensitive media. The new bottle size has also been added to the Duran protect range, which features a scratch-resistant plastic coating that protects against leakage and chips.
