Best combination of size and performance - meet the new HiPace 80 Neo

Sep 06 2021

The new HiPace 80 Neo from Pfeiffer Vacuum is a reliable and low-vibration turbopump that offers high performance and a compact design. It is particularly suitable for vibration-sensitive applications: from mass spectrometry and electron microscopy to leak detectors and RGA systems. For example, the low vibroacoustic emissions enable high-resolution images of electron microscopes with integrated turbopumps.

Good reasons to learn more about the Laser Balancing™ technology

The balancing of these hybrid-bearing rotors has been a core competence of Pfeiffer Vacuum for many years, enabling the supply of technologically advanced turbopumps with a very low vibration level. With the launch of the new advanced HiPace 80 Neo, the Laser Balancing™ developed by Pfeiffer Vacuum is introduced - an innovation that provides improved durability and lower vibration as well as noise emissions.

Smart functions are also included

The integrated rotor temperature measurement system ensures that the HiPace 80 Neo delivers the best performance at all times. And thanks to the integrated sensors, HiPace turbopumps guarantee maximum operational reliability.

The hybrid bearing of the HiPace 80 Neo consists of an oil-lubricated, ceramic ball bearing on the fore-vacuum side and a permanent-magnet radial bearing on the high-vacuum side. As a result, this turbopump from the HiPace series has a particularly robust bearing that ensures excellent reliability.

Why the HiPace 80 Neo is the most reliable pump on the market

The HiPace 80 Neo offers high performance and a compact design. Smaller, more compact and lighter than other turbopumps, it can be integrated into portable and mobile applications. The pump is both compact and smart: With its micro-USB interfaces with automatic accessory recognition, the system can be quickly up and running in just a few steps.

Furthermore, the HiPace 80 Neo incorporates a new high-performance lubricant, which improves safety and reliability with improved ageing resistance, optimised lubrication behavior and higher temperature resistance. The HiPace 80 Neo pumps run maintenance-free for up to 5 years.
