Instrument Degassing and Inline Filters - Now Enhanced!
Sep 25 2012
Porex Corporation (“Porex”), a proven market leader in porous media solutions for the healthcare, industrial and consumer markets, has enhanced its offering of inline filters to include instrument degassing, reagent filtering and contamination protection of compressed air lines and vacuum pumps, lines and switches. The tortuous path filter element, contained in a translucent, solid polyethylene (PE) housing, traps particles as small as 10 microns and is available in 10, 25 and 125 micron sizes. Available in barbed or luer connections, retention efficiency is tested per ASTM F795-88 in water.
POREX® INLINE™ Reagent Filters are part of the Company’s line of sample preparation products which are
uniquely designed for use in demanding diagnostic, liquid handling, processing and storage applications. Porex sample preparation products combine unique manufacturing processes with proprietary and patented technologies, resulting in maximum performance, accuracy and reproducibility.
“Innovation truly is the foundation of everything we do at Porex. Our research scientists and engineers are dedicated to creating pioneering materials, products and solutions such as our INLINE Reagent Filters that help our customers meet their specific needs and challenges,” said William Midgette, President and Chief Executive Officer of Porex. “For years, Porex has been helping individuals in the clinical and life sciences bring the best ideas to market.”
POREX INLINE Reagent Filters are Certified Pure Porex™, indicating they have been rigorously tested by third-party analytical, clinical, and life cycle microbiology laboratories under the Porex technical performance and certification program. The Pure Porex certification substantiates Porex filters and materials for filter purity, no material additives or contaminants, no heavy metal or inorganic element interference, and clinical laboratory methodology compatibility.
