Porvair Filtration Group has announced that it recently secured and supplied its first order to a major international water company headquartered in Minneapolis. The account, which provides filtration systems for residential, commercial, and recreational water, has demand for over $300,000 of porous plastic products per year. A spokesperson for the company informed Porvair ‘it had been awarded the business based on its superior service and quality’. The removal of contaminants from untreated water has become a leading issue, due to environmental concerns and the threat of future water shortage. An effective purification process is necessary to eliminate organic, chemical or other debris to meet stringent regulations for drinking water.
