The NuAire NU-5741E Direct Heat Incubator offers control of temperature, CO2, relative humidity and oxygen level on one model to empower laboratories who require broader control of chamber parameters with the ideal ‘all in one’ choice for their cell culture research. This design not only uses direct heating elements for temperature control and an infrared sensor for CO2 control but also houses a relative humidity reservoir through which chamber air is passed when humidity is required. The ability to create hypoxic conditions is afforded by injecting N2 into the chamber as needed. For defence against contamination, chamber air is always routed through a HEPA filter while a 145ºC high heat cycle can be run by the operator when necessary. Users enter setpoints and download historical performance from the touch screen. Finally, laboratories can configure their incubator with the platform shown here, a set of inner doors, extra shelves, and more.
