Incubators
Designed for use inside CO₂ incubators, Wiggens Celshak provides a compact solution for laboratories requiring dynamic cell culture conditions within a controlled incubation environment.
Shaking cell cultures can improve oxygen transfer and support more uniform nutrient distribution in the culture medium. Compared with static conditions, gentle and stable agitation helps create a more consistent environment for cell growth, particularly in early-stage culture work, process development and small-scale biological applications.
Celshak is purpose-built for CO₂ incubator use and features a SUS304 stainless-steel housing with a separate external controller, allowing the drive unit to operate inside the incubator while the control unit remains outside for easy access.
The Wiggens range includes three CO₂ incubator shaker models featuring non-belt magnetic drive technology. This design provides smooth start-up and braking, stable shaking performance and improved resistance to humid incubator conditions. Ultra-low power consumption also helps minimise additional heat generation during long-term operation.
The stainless-steel housing is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean, supporting GMP-oriented cleaning requirements. Residual liquids can be removed easily and the unit can be disinfected with suitable chemicals. Where no access port is available, the thin connecting cable can be routed through the incubator door seal.
For laboratories working with dynamic cell culture, CO₂ incubator shakers offer a compact, cleanable and practical solution for reliable operation within existing incubation systems.
