Incubators
Esco Lifesciences continues to advance laboratory shaking technology with its OrbiCult™ temperature-controlled incubator shaker range, combining precise environmental control, intuitive touchscreen operation and a highly flexible, space-efficient design.
At the centre of the OrbiCult™ platform is a large 10-inch colour touchscreen, providing clear, real-time monitoring and control of key parameters including temperature, shaking speed, CO₂ concentration and humidity. The interface is designed to simplify complex workflows, enabling users to quickly set, adjust and monitor conditions while maintaining full visibility of system performance. Integrated data logging, multi-parameter alarms and user access control further support reproducibility, traceability and operational security.
Performance is underpinned by advanced environmental control systems, including PID temperature regulation with a variable frequency compressor and dual crossflow fans to ensure uniform conditions throughout the chamber. Optional CO₂ and humidity control capabilities allow the system to support a wide range of applications, from microbial culture to sensitive mammalian cell workflows.
The OrbiCult™ also places strong emphasis on usability and efficiency. A triple-axis balanced drive and brushless motor deliver smooth, low-noise operation, while gentle start and stop functionality helps protect samples and maintain stability. The system’s three-tier stackable design, with independent control of each layer, maximises throughput without increasing laboratory footprint, making it particularly suited to high-throughput environments.
Additional features such as a stainless steel interior, transparent safety glass doors and long-term data storage of up to 912 days further enhance durability, visibility and compliance.
By combining intelligent touchscreen control, precise environmental regulation and scalable design, the OrbiCult™ range provides laboratories with a reliable and forward-thinking solution for modern cell culture and microbiology applications.
