New High Volume Addition to the Finntip Flex Family of Pipette Tips
Jan 23 2007
The Finntip Flex tip's flexible thin-wall technology requires less force to create an effective seal with the pipette, ensuring accurate and precise liquid transfer. Furthermore, the reduced tip ejection force significantly lowers the risk of repetitive strain injuries (RSIs).
The Finntip Flex system offers space-saving solutions with the rack and refill kit, which are durable and easy to use. The sturdy base and non-slip feet ensure that the rack remains in place and is easy to open with one hand, allowing tips to be attached quickly and firmly. The refill system is environmentally friendly and its innovative design saves on laboratory bench space, allowing fast rack attachment with just one click.
Finntip Flex Filter tips are certified to be free from DNA, DNase and RNase, making them essential where cross contamination is a major concern and so ideal for use in research applications such as biomolecular assays. Made of an inert non-sealing polyethylene matrix, the filter is effective at eliminating carry-over contamination from liquids and aerosols between pipette and tip, and permits sample recovery after accidental ingress without any loss of integrity. Finntip Flex Filter tips are available in 30, 100, 200, 300, 1000 and 1200µl volumes.
The high-quality Finntip Flex pipette tips are fully compatible with Thermo's world leading Finnpipette® family, providing optimal liquid handling results. All users are now entitled to an extended 5-year warranty for all manual Finnpipettes and a market-leading 2-year warranty for all electronic Novus pipettes. The warranty applies to both single channel and multichannel pipettes and is obtained by completing the web registration form.
