LIMS
Sapio Sciences has launched a new partner ecosystem for Sapio ELaiN, its third-generation AI-powered lab notebook, bringing trusted third-party scientific applications, AI models and research platforms directly into the ELN environment.
Designed as a ‘science-aware’ AI notebook, ELaiN enables scientists to describe their experimental goals in natural language while the system coordinates workflows, integrates licensed tools and returns results directly into the experiment record. The new ecosystem expands this capability by embedding specialist modelling, cheminformatics, structure-based design and predictive analytics tools within a governed laboratory framework.
Rather than requiring scientists to switch between systems, ELaiN orchestrates access to integrated platforms - including AI infrastructure, molecular modelling software and disease genomics resources - while maintaining a single, traceable experimental record.
“The future of scientific discovery lies in ecosystems, not silos,” said Andrew Wyatt, Chief Growth Officer at Sapio Sciences. “By integrating powerful tools and models directly into ELaiN, we help scientists stay focused, move faster and uncover insight without friction.”
All integrations operate within the customer’s secure environment and use the same auditability, governance and compliance controls that underpin Sapio’s LIMS platform. Interactions with AI models and partner applications are recorded within the experiment record, preserving provenance and data lineage required in regulated research settings.
Additional integrations are planned throughout 2026 as Sapio expands the ELaiN ecosystem.
